Tax Repeal

The Tax Bill that was passed in the December 2019 special session is REPEALED. They say that “62 hours of public input” is amazing and something that could never happen in the general session. NOT TRUE. There are 104 legislators, and if each would spend only 3 hours talking to their constituents, they would have 312 hours of public input from ALL across the State and not simply the 8-9 town hall meetings they conducted (over 5x’s the public input)!

HB 185 PASSES in minutes! Legislators convinced that they “did a poor job explaining it to the public”, continue to fail to recognize that they rushed this bill through. Link: News Article (full of great quotes):
